Spain, The Strongest Team In Euro 2012?

As we know, Euro Cup 2012 is just few weeks away. As usual many prediction are start to  flying around anywhere about who will gonna win. Who is the strongest team, and on and on.

As former champion, La Furia Roja (The Red Fury), Spain, will have to face strong challenges from other strong participant countries to defend her 2008 title. Yet as today results in European Football competitions, Spain's clubs and National Team are dominating and have very good records. In FIFA Rank as this article written, Spain sits highest on the World's No.1 too.
At club's level, Barcelona FC is the last World Club Cup Winner. At Euro two highest club competitions, five Spain clubs are in the Best Eight.
So, is it the sign that Spain will retain her championship in the 2012 Euro Cup? Why not? they have the same manager, Del Bosque who has  proved it all. They have almost the same players. The Barcelona FC, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Valencia and Athletic Bilbao are in their top form in European football highest level. Why not?

You may think like that. In fact many predictors think like that. Just see the castrolfootball predictor at their website and all the scientific data point to that very chance for Spain.

Before we go to far, let's take a look at this; clubs are very different than national team. Yes we know that Spain National Team genuinely are the actual mixture of its two strongest clubs, Barcelona FC and Real Madrid, plus some best players from other clubs as well. But, don't you forget about this facts:

1. Barcelona FC's strongest attacker/striker/player/goal scorer is Lionel Messi, the Argentinian, not Spanish.

2. Real Madrid FC's strongest attacker/striker/player/goal scorer is Cristiano Ronaldo, not Spanish either.

3. Top strikers for Spain in the last World Cup and previous European Cup are  David Villa (Barcelona) and Fernando Torres (Chelsea). Both of them are in their unproductive state now. One (Villa) is injured and Torres is still seems not like a very sharp striker he once famous for in Chelsea. Which mean that Spain's best strikers both are not in their finest form this time.

Of course things can change in this few weeks, as we know (and we love) about football; many things are predictable but many results are unpredictable.

So, again, will Spain be the 2012 Euro Champion? I will learn hard about the facts above (and other factors) before answer that question.

You decide.
